Lionel saw it coming, his body responded quickly to the incoming attack. He quickly gathered his Ki on his leg and dodged the beam in an instant.

Master Xia forseen this will happen and continued his attacks. He shot a few more beams within the next few seconds. Lionel did not let down his guard at all but concentrated the Ki on his leg, allowing him to easily dodge the other attacks.

After a series of attack, Master Xia paused and looked at Lionel. He sent a signal - A signal that only both of them knew. Lionel began to gather his Ki just like what his master did and shot a mutiple number of beams!

But it was not enough to defeat Master Xia as he blocked the beams one by one using his bare hands. After a series of continuous attacks, Lionel was too tired as he have used up his Ki.

Master Xia
"How do you feel now?"

Lionel breathlessly said
"T...i..red."

Master Xia
"And how did you manage to use that skill?"

Lionel was stunned, memories about the attacks he did eariler flashed into his mind.

Lionel
"It just came to my mind as I saw how master attack me."

Master Xia laughed loudly
"You have passed the test!"

Lionel
"WHAT?! THAT'S ALL?!"

Master Xia
"HAHAHA. Let me explain - The skill was "Phoenix Drive", Which I spent 3 years to invent. Even people at my level need 2-3 years to master it, but you learn it within 1 hour."

Lionel
"But...how come?"

Master Xia
"When we met for the first time, I can see that you have a pair of gifted eyes. I knew that you were gifted with the abilites to learn everything faster then anyone. I was training you physically and mentally. What Madam YiTing fed you was a medicine that she created to make your body adapt to many different kinds of Ki."

Lionel remained silent...........

Master Xia
"And if you did not go through all those trainings, you would have lost control of the Ki and explode. The test today was to see if you are able to control it, and you did it!
I just taught you my strongest skills although it was only 10% of the power."

Lionel
"10%?! What will happened if you use 100%?"

Master Xia
"I've never tried that before, but I think it will cause the whole town to be wiped out."

Lionel was too shocked to say anything.

Master Xia
"Anyway, now that you have passed my test, I want you to travel around the world."

Lionel
"But the other day, I heard about you and that old man saying something about find a heir."

Master Xia
"It is a waste for you to stay here and be my heir. You have gifted abilities so you have to go for
a journey to train yourself stronger and able to fight the evil that will be revived soon"

Lionel
"Thank you Master!"

Before Lionel leave Master Xia's place, Master Xia gave him a letter and asked him to go to Australia to find his partner, Robbie. Lionel bidded goodbye and went back to his apartment to prepare for his trip.Just as Lionel walked out of his house, he saw a person standing outside waiting for him. It was Chun Hao.

Chun Hao
"Don't intend to say goodbye?"

Lionel
"Was about to do that."

Chun hao
"Haha. Let me send you off"

When they reached the bus stop, they promised each other that they will meet again and gave each other a hug. Just as Lionel was about to get on the bus, "Boom!" a car accident happened opposite the street.

The two boys looked at each other and rushed over to see if anybody needed help. They saw a girl in her school uniform lying there. The girl's leg was cover with blood and was unconscious, Chun quickly took a look at her to see if there was any serious injures. Luckily the girl did not have any serious injury except a deep scratch on her leg.

Chun brought the girl back to his house and asked Jo to give her some medical treatment. The boys went in to take a look at her after Jo finished the treatment. Lionel was looking constantly at her face, Chun saw that and teased him.

Chun
"She's kinda cute right? Your type?"

Lionel
"No..it's just that she looks so familiar."

Chun
"Come on man, that's an old trick already!"

Lionel
"I am serious!"

Chun looked at Lionel's face and know that he really wasn't joking about it.

Chun
"Could it be someone from our secondary school?"

Lionel
"Dude, we studied at a boy's school."

Chun let out a cheeky laugh while Lionel gave him a stare.

Chun
"Ok ok, I shall stop. So you think she is the one that attacked you?"

Lionel
"Maybe, we shall ask her when she wake up"

Chun
"Let's go have dinner first, I think your trip has to be postponed to tomorrow."

After they ate their dinner, they went back to the room where the girl was in. When they opened the door, the bed was empty. They looked at each other and Chun started to move in slowly. Suddenly a Ki was shot at Chun! Chun saw it coming and easily dodged it, but the Ki hit his closet and made a hole.

Chun
"You were lucky that my mother is not at home."

Lionel looked over and saw that girl, she was ready to shoot another Ki......
