The rain started to pour with thunder striking. The fog caused by an explosion started to disperse with two men facing each other laughing.

Chun
"That was sweet! Since when did you become so strong?"

Lionel
"You don't know how much training I went through."

Chun
"I see that you've trained hard, but not hard enough!"

Just as Chun finished his sentence, he gathered his Ki on one of his legs and dashed towards Lionel, followed by a thrust kick.Lionel tried to block it but he was not strong enough. The impact pushed him back a few steps and he vomited some blood.

Chun seized the opening and continued his attacks. He lifted up his foot and gathered enough Ki to shoot out a shockwave towards Lionel. This was a skill only Joanna possessed called "Sonic Swift".

Lionel did not let down his guard, but this was too much for him."Baboom!", a small explosion erupted and Lionel dropped onto the ground. Chun dashed forward and he lifted up his leg to give his final blow without hesitation. Lionel saw it coming so he closed his eyes, thinking that this was the end.


Chun stopped his leg 1 inch from Lionel's face. Lionel opened his eyes and saw
Chun's smiling face.

Lionel
"Fine, you win!"

Chun
"You did well. It won't be long till' the day you surpass me."

Lionel
"Thanks."

Chun pulled Lionel up and decided to head home. Just when they were leaving the
place, a familiar voice appeared behind them.

Familiar voice
"Stop right there"

Chun's face changed as he turned back.

Chun
"Mother."

Infront of them stood a woman. She was the strongest woman and one of the seven deputies,
also known as "Deadly Swift Jo". She had an unhappy face.

Lionel
"Aunt...."

Jo
"You should know very well Lionel."

Lionel
"Oh sorry, Aunt Jo"

Jo
"I know you guys often train here, but don't you think you went a bit overboard? Look at the mess that you made on the floor, what is going to happen when the elders come tomorrow morning for taiji? You know well that everyone in this town know that the two of you came here for training."

Chun
"Sorry mother, I was kind of excited today" Chun gave out a cheeky smile on his face

Jo
"Clean up this mess now! And no more using of Ki!"

Chun and Lionel
"WHAT?!"

Jo
"Is there any problem?" Clenching her fist while saying it.

Chun and Lionel
"NO!"

Both of them started to work on the mess they caused. By the time they were done, it was
already midnight. Both of them looked at each other's pathetic faces and laughed.

One week later...

The day that Lionel was going to take his test from his master have arrived. Lionel came to
Master Xia's house early in the morning as he was told to do so. He saw Madam Yi Ting as
soon as he reached.

Madam Yi Ting
"Your master is waiting for you at the backyard."

Lionel thanked her and went to the backyard. Just as he reached, he saw his master standing on a small hill facing the mountain. Lionel called out to his master and went over.

Just as Lionel got near, Master Xia shot a beam of Ki towards him....
